BruMate Logo Redesign
Brand Design
Completed in 3 Weeks
the problem
The existing BrüMate logo presented a readability challenge, as the “U” was stylized in a way that could be misread as a “Y.” This created potential confusion in brand recognition and reduced clarity, especially in quick glance or small scale applications. I wanted to explore how the logo could be refined to improve legibility while still maintaining its recognizable identity!
Our Solution
I approached the redesign by simplifying and refining the letterform of the “U” to ensure it clearly reads as intended. The focus was on maintaining the brand’s bold, modern aesthetic while improving typographic clarity. Ensuring the logo remains effective in both digital and physical applications.
the outcome
This redesign strengthened my ability to evaluate typography within branding and make subtle but impactful improvements. It reinforced the importance of legibility in logo design! (Note: this is a hypothetical re-brand).
